Join us on Saturday, September 19 and Saturday, September 26 from 1-7pm in the Plaza District for celebration and solidarity. Solidarity in the Plaza will feature black artists, makers, and performers throughout the 16th Street Plaza District.
In partnership with the Queer Film Continuum, the Plaza District will host a film screening at 8pm on Saturday, September 26 in the Lyric parking lot. The screening, curated by Tulsa Artist Fellow Crystal Z Campbell, will feature several films by BIPOC filmmakers that invite viewers to critically listen, reflect and proceed in the movement for Black Lives in Oklahoma and beyond. Feel free to bring blankets and chairs and please wear masks and maintain social distance throughout the screening.
Additional programming will include performances by RACE Dance Company, voter registration, notary station, live music, and more! We ask that all attendees wear masks and practice social distancing. Stay tuned for more details and be sure to follow us on social media Plaza District.
Please help us keep each other safe by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.
