Stand Up for Human Rights March

In a world where fundamental human rights are being abused we must gather together to #StandUp4HumanRights! In celebration of the 71st Anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights Youth for Human Rights Washington D.C. will lead a #HumanRightsMarch from the Lincoln Memorial to the National World War II Memorial. The march is part of a global series of events happening in countries around the world in honor of International #HumanRightsDay.

WHERE: Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool (look for the big blue banner)

WHEN: The march starts at 1 PM sharp

DRESS CODE: Dress warmly and wear something blue in show of support of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Afterwards join us for a Hot Chocolate Party and tour the human rights pop-up exhibit at the Founding Church of Scientology at 1424 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20036 (corner of 16th & P Street NW)

The Human Rights Exhibit will be open until 6 PM on Sunday December 8th.
